Electricity Part 1

A.) alternating current (AC)

This type of electricity changes a set direction with time.

For example Your Home Volt is AC.

OR,

Alternating current is an electric current which periodically reverses direction and changes its magnitude continuously with time in contrast to direct current which flows only in one direction.

B.) Direct current (DC)

This type of electricity doesn't changes a set direction with time.
For example Battery Volt is DC.

OR,

Direct current is the one directional flow of electric charge. An electrochemical cell is a prime example of DC power. Direct current may flow through a conductor such as a wire, but can also flow through semiconductors, insulators, or even through a vacuum as in electron or ion beams.

NOTS:

The computer requires a DC volt to run for Digital Computer.
